Climbing in Sifnos is a fact. Following the initiative of DI.K.E. Sifnos, we now have the opportunity to climb in 70 different routes of 4 sports climbing fields in Sifnos.
What do we offer?
Belaying partner : Sport climbing requires 2 people, the climber and the belayer. So, we give you the opportunity to belay you as you climb.
Equipment: In the 70 routes that exist so far on the island, multidirectional anchor plates have been installed along the route and a top anchor with carabiners. We offer you the necessary equipment certified by UIAA: climbing shoes, helmets, harnesses, quickdraws, ropes, belay device.
First steps: We teach you the basics for a safe rock climb. You can safely try climbing in Sifnos, no previous experience required.
Who can climb? Generally, anyone who has a good physical condition and good health. Children and adolescents aged 7-17 should be accompanied by a guardian. Our equipment is constantly enriched. For the time being, our climbing shoes and harnesses can suit to people from 7 years old and up.
What time does it take? The climbing fields are shaded from 13.00 noon onwards during the summer.
How many people does each group have? We accept reservations from groups of 1 to 6 people every day.
What should I bring with me? It is recommended that you wear comfortable closed in shoes for better access to the field. Water and light snacks.
How do I book? From the menu of our website, you choose a reservation, then you choose the Rock Climbing Partners service, the person from our team, the date and time you want and your personal contact information in order to reach you later. It would help us a lot, if in the comments you could write, the number of shoes you wear and the waist size, so that we bring with us the appropriate climbing equipment for you.
What we do not offer: Rental of equipment: Climbing equipment requires inspection and maintenance each time before use. How to Reserve
Select from the RESERVATION menu, the Rock Climbing partners, then the person from our team, the date, and any time between 13.00-18.00. Due to the limited number of groups, priority will be given to persons who has reserved first You will receive a confirmation email. Thank you!
